My Little Pony Games & Activities:
Face Painting: As My Little Pony birthday party guests arrive, brighten their faces with a bit of face paint. Decorate guests' cheeks with pastel colours and My Little Pony symbols: flowers, butterflies, rainbows, hearts, and so on.
Guess How Many: Fill a clear jar with gummy horses and horseshoes. (Count and write the number of candy that you put in the jar.) When the kids arrive, get them to guess how many gummies are in the jar. The person who guesses the closest to the amount receives the jar full of candy to take home. (For younger kids, have their parents or helpers assist in coming up with a number estimate.)
Who is the Pony on My Back Game: For this game, you will need My Little Pony stickers of all of the My Little Pony characters. Divide up the guests into pairs, and one group of three if you have an odd number. Place a different My Little Pony sticker on the back of each guest. Have your guests look at the ponies on each other's backs without saying which one they have. Each child is to try to guess which pony is on her back by asking her partner "yes" or "no" questions such as, "Do I have wings?" "Do I dance?" "Am I blue?" "Is my mane pink?" As each pair correctly guesses their ponies, they win a prize.
My Little Pony Names.
Find Lost Ponies: Hide small plastic ponies and horses throughout your party area. Make sure that they are not too difficult to find. Get My Little Pony birthday party guests to find lost animals and bring them back home.
Mustang Roundup: Choose one or more kids to be rustlers. All the other My Little Pony party guests are mustangs. When the rustlers hear the command "Corral 'em!" - they have to catch the mustangs. When players get caught, they go to a designated area called "Corral." There they must stand with their legs wide apart. To be freed, one of the free mustangs must crawl between their legs. Keep the game going until every mustang has been caught.
Decorate your entrance by drawing ponies, horseshoes, etc. with colourful chalks or posters. Hang balloons and paper streamers. Look for horseshoes or pony figures in your local dollar store. Mount a banner near the front door that says "Welcome to My Little Pony Birthday Party!" Inside the house, fill the ceiling with blue and clear helium balloons to represent the sky and the clouds. Draw a large rainbow and tape it to the wall. Hang My Little Pony posters around the house. Spread out plastic horses and construction paper horseshoe-shaped cutouts on the floor. Place My Little Pony activity books, colouring pages and crayons on coffee tables. |
