Games and Activities:
We have found some really great games for adults:
The Party Begins: Before the party, arrange a table with dollar shop glitter hats, cheap hairpieces, bow ties, scarves, crowns, fans, wands and wings. Upon arrival, escort the guests to the Makeover table, where they can choose their party props.
Photo Frames: Decorate plain picture frames (dollar shop) with glitter glue and stick on jewels, butterflies, etc. Use a Polaroid or digital camera and printer, to take pictures when the guests are all dressed up and having fun. Each guest will have their own picture and frame to take home.

The NO Game: You need necklaces made of yarn or flower luaus - one for each player. The idea is to get the other person to say "No" when answering your question. Try to make your friends say "No" and you get their necklace. Whoever has the most at the end wins a prize. This game is a good ice breaker.

What Animal Are YOU Game: A fun get-to-know-you-game which compares your personality to various domestic animals. Get ready some sheets of paper, pens or pencils for your guests beforehand. Each player writes numbers from 1 to 10 ands against each number the name of an animal. Then the leader asks the first question (Who are you at home?) and the players must each read the answers which they wrote on their sheets of paper for number 1. Then the leader asks the 2nd question and the players must read the word which is written for number 2 and so on. The leader's questions may be as follows:
1. Who are you at home?
2. Who are you in private?
3. Who are you in public?
4. Who are you without clothes?
5. Who are you after dinner?
6. What do other people think of you?
7. Who are you at nights?
8. What do you think about yourself?
9. Who are you with your friends?
10. Who are you in fact?

Getting Acquainted Game: Learn all the names of other guests/players with this fun memory game. Get everyone into a circle. The players hold each other by the hands. The host(ess) names him/herself first (eg: Sue). Then all the players pronounce the names of the players who named themselves before and at the end say their own names (eg: Sue, Bill). The last player names all the players in the circle one after another (eg: Sue, Bill, Betty, Bob, Pat, John). As a rule the players learn the names of all the players during the game.

Songs in Your Life Game: You need paper and pens. Players write down songs and then see if they match significant life events like first kiss etc. Ask the players to recollect and write down several lines from 6 of their favourite songs. After that give them a key to solution:
1. The first song - your feeling after the first kiss
2. The second - your memory of the first night together
3. The third - reminder of your honeymoon
4. The fourth - in a year after the marriage
5. The fifth - Now when we are together I think about it
6. The sixth - in 50 years of the life together
Read each of the six and then ask the group if the song fits the memory. Lots of fun.

Big Toe Contest: Everyone takes off their shoes. Take turns showing your big toe for all to see! Choose a panel of three judges. Give prizes to the winners of the following:
1. Whose big toe is the longest?
2. Whose big toe is widest?
3. Whose big toe is the hairiest?
4. Whose big toe has the most sock lint?
5. Whose big toenail is the longest?
6. Whose big toe is the prettiest?

Chocolate Bar Game: Buy 20 different brands of chocolate bars (snickers, mars, milky way, twix etc.) and put a sizeable piece of each on a paper plate, but not the whole bar - just a piece of each. Number each plate with a marker from 1 to 20 and make sure that you keep track of which candy bar is put on each numbered plate. Make a list such as #1 Snickers #2 Mars #3 Kitkat etc. Put each plate in the microwave and wait until the candy bar is melted pretty good. Some will melt better than others, therefore you may have to do some squashing with your finger to make them a bit less recognizable. But don't melt them or squash them too much since it may make them completely unrecognizable! You want to give your guests a fighting chance here. Next, after all melting and squashing is complete, put all the plates on a table with paper and pencils and have them write down their guesses. Then read off the answers and have them mark their correct guesses. The one with the most correct wins. What do they win? Candy bars of course!
